My Story

My interest in healthcare began with a strong desire to help my family and friends if something ever went wrong. I wanted the skills and knowledge to support the people close to me, rather than feeling unsure or helpless when someone was unwell.

That motivation led me towards a career path in health. I explored several healthcare professions, including nursing, paramedicine, and physiotherapy, but I wanted a role where I could best understand what was really going on in someone’s body and decide how to care for them as an individual.

This is how I found Chinese Medicine. I wanted to be an all-rounder, with a broad understanding of different health concerns, so I could be prepared to help people with a wide range of presentations.

Chinese Medicine stood out to me for its natural tools and its ability to look at the body as a whole, rather than focusing on just one system or type of problem. This approach allows me to work with multiple concerns at once and tailor care to the individual.

And so today, my aim is to provide calm, thoughtful care that helps people feel supported, understood, and better equipped to move through their day-to-day lives.
